Hello everyone! I know, it's been a few months, but I am still getting back into the swing of things and taking my time getting back into blogging. The good news is that I made my mom her first blog ever! She has always wanted to start a blog talking about what it is like to be a mother of two and just simply talking about what she has gone through with her life. It's not published publicly yet, but I will all let you know when it is.

2018 was not the best year to go through, but my only goal for 2019 is to just become happier. I have made big list for New Years resolutions in the past and they have never really worked because we are all human and we forget about things. If you want to make a new goal for this year, just make it simple because there will be more chances of it happening. Another thing I want to point out for this new year is that try to take more time for yourself. Last year I was really unmotivated and didn't put the time to take care of myself properly. I worked out two days ago and I felt so much better about myself. You don't need to go to a fancy gym and need to know everything about working out. I just watch youtube videos and do the work outs at home. I will link some videos down below and they are very easy to follow. Working out should be fun, not a chore. For now, I am only working out every other day so I can give myself a little break and relax.

I don't just work out to look more fit, I do it mainly for my mental health. I have been struggling with anxiety since I was little and whenever I do any activity, I feel more at ease and relaxed after. Even going on a small walk helps my mental health because whenever I go outside and just focus on nature, I feel like all my problems go away. I always turn my phone on silent so I don't get any distractions when I am walking. If you have a dog, take him/her out as much as you can. My Golden Retriever Luna always wants to play and loves going on walks. She helps motivate me to go out and just have fun being outside. If you don't have a pup, it doesn't matter; just go out by yourself and have some me time. Enjoy the surroundings that are around you and appreciate what nature has given.

All I am saying is that don't overthink so much and just do things you enjoy. My therapist gave me the best advice and that was, "don't may it a choice, just do it." Since she has said that to me, I have been taking care of myself much better and feel more motivated to do things I want to do. I have told this advice to some of my friends and the look on their face when I said that was fantastic. It looked like something hit them hard and some spark went off in their head. Just a simple saying can really do the trick.

Thank you for checking out my blog because it really means a lot to me when people read it and give me any feed back on my work to make it better. I want to talk more about my anxiety and tell people they are not alone. Most of my friends have anxiety or mental disorders. More and more people are opening up about it and its great. I feel less a lone, no shame and since I have open up about my anxiety, I feel more comfortable with myself. I will make a most more about how I have been taking care of myself better and trust me, it the most simple things that anyway can do because face it, we all get lazy. Thanks again and until next time.
